The printing machine KBA Rapida 106-7+L with 7 color and 1 varnishing unit allows printing straight from the reel with maximum width of 1 050 mm, at a speed exceeding 18 000 sheet per hour. The range of the surfaces to be printed is very wide – from paper to different types of films (PP, PET, PVC, PE). The printing machine has a whole series of technological possibilities concentrated on quality, its continuous checking, automatic correction and evaluation. By installing this new offset KBA machine, the OTK GROUP, a. s., extends its offer for the customers in the area of IML labels and, at the same time, increases its printing capacity in the graphical labels area.
The cutting machine SANWA TRP-1060-SW EXSELI supplements the machinery of the OTK GROUP, a. s. The Japanese cutting machine SANWA shows top operational parameters. It enables cutting IML labels and embossing beverage labels.
„This whole investment is a part of a further development strategy of OTK GROUP and increases significantly the production capacity of the in-mould (IML) and graphical labels. The company can now satisfy even the most demanding customers and can offer production capacities exceeding 15 billion labels per year,“ said the Director-General Ing. Petr Jašek. The production modernization and the total investment costs exceeding 90 million CZK puts the company ahead of competition.
